Free Public News Servers. Some people may have already have
newsgroup access through their ISP. But find themselves with
limited choices of newsgroups they can access. We now have access
to Free Open Public News Servers, so Can-Ue. New, News Servers are
added regular. So check back often.
News Servers Speeds

Fast: These gives you the highest access,
base on your connection and modem capabilities.

Good: These gives you an average to fast
access, sometimes varied, depending on time of day.

Slow: These gives you an average to poor
access, depending on time of day.

Inactive: Server has been reported as been
unable to access. This could mean the server is temporarily
unavailable or at worst, open public access has been blocked.
To activate the Client Base News Servers;
Find the server that is most suitable for you.
Click on the highlighted link, this will open in your news reader
program. You must have a news reader already installed. Then
follow the on screen instructions. Once you downloaded all the
newsgroups, either do a search or use the scroll bar until you find the
group or groups you want. Subscribe to your newsgroup and download
the news headers. Then select which headers you want to view by
clicking on the appropriate header (s). The information will then
display in the viewer pane of your news reader. Best of luck.
